I recently took my family to the Kenmare Bay Hotel for a much-needed getaway. We stayed in one of the lodges on the hotel grounds, which offered ample space for our little crew. The decor might be stuck in the '90s, but the lodge was neat and functional. What stood out was the family-friendly atmosphere. Our daughter loved the Kids' Corner, especially enjoying the tasty treats from their kids' menu while we savored some downtime. We also appreciated the leisure facilities-the pool was well-maintained, and the staff were genuinely helpful, making our stay more enjoyable. On Sunday, we noticed the Kenmare Cycling Club gathering right by the hotel, which was a great way to immerse ourselves in local culture. Although we didn't partake this time, it's a fantastic option for families looking to explore more actively. Our experience at Kenmare Bay was quite pleasant. We left with family memories and certainly wouldn't hesitate to return.
